Living in Rourkela for the past two weeks have been extremly difficult. There were no power for three nights. During day time it is highly irratic. The working hours has reduced considerably.
No power means no computer, no fan, no water and no work.
The late eveing storm and the power failure has become a routine.
It is sad, industrial town such as Rourkela should have such kind of fate. I failed again and again on many committments. It is really shameful. Why WESCO can not orgainse things better ???

ohhhhhhhh u r from my city.i love rourkel..specialy ringroad from chend to konark cinema hall...am missing so much my city...u r lucky guy.....will definetly folow this blog..after all its all about rourkela.....

Hi Natwar, You are done a great job, creating this blog. In fact, I believe that this is one of the few resources that I have to trace my past to this city of Rourkela. I don't want to bore you by appearing out of the blue and telling you my story and this little mission of mine to get in touch with my old teacher. So if you are interested in helping me, pls contact me so that I can tell you the details. Basically I am looking for someone who was the Principal of a little kindergarten school called "Arya Wonderland" located in sector-19 (near the shopping complex). I am not sure if the school itself exists now. I am looking for a person named Mrs Pratima Mukherjee who retired a few years ago. I know this sounds bizaare, considering the fact that I don't know you but I just came across this blog while searching for Rourkela on the web. I was actually reminded of my teacher when I saw a little note that she gave me way back in 1985 when I was in the upper KG..sorry for bothering you my friend but pls help me if u can..again..nice blog..gives hope to ppl like me..thnx
