Finally Rourkela has a Rajdhani Train. We now have a Rajdhani Express from Howrah to Delhi (it is the extension of Bilaspur Rajdhani Express) twice in a week running via Rourkela.

The train run via Bhopal so a lot of new connection.  The journey from and To Delhi it seems to be more smooth now. Also the train is good for going to Howrah. The train leaves from Delhi on Thursday and Friday, and the first train will arrive Rourkela tonight. There is some confusion regarding the time. Time published in Sambad seems to be inaccurate. Online reservation for the train from Rourkela is not yet available :) I will keep you update on the issue.

Also we have a new train for Vanarasi again an extension of Ranchi-Varanshi Express. This train was announced in last budget but has seen the light of the day just yesterdy.
