This Refractory Plant is situated 15 km away from the Rourkela on Rourkela - Cuttack Road. It was started in the year 1962. Rourkela Steel Plant was under construction in the year 1962. So the ORIND Company has helped the Rourkela Steel Plant by manufacturing of different types of Refractories of RSP in blast furnace, openhearth furnaces, coke oven etc. The high quality product of Refractory are the aim of ORIND and it has occupied the highest point of supply to Steel Plant, Glass Plant, Cement, Aluminium and Copper Plant in India. ORIND has achieved 130 crores annual turnover in the year 1994 - 95. It has it's own township of all facilities like hospital, school, drinking water and light facilities.
